The University of Findlay volleyball team came from behind to defeat Northern Michigan 3-2 (16-25, 22-25, 25-19, 25-22, 15-12) on Saturday, September 29, in Marquette, Michigan. The Oilers improve to 7-6 overall with a 4-2 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

Juniors Danielle Taflinger and Mackenzie Vorst paced the Oilers offense with 11 kills each, which also gave Vorst a double-double with 12 digs.

Junior Brittany Hall supported Findlay with 15 digs while sophomore Amanda Calhoun had 34 assists.

Taflinger and senior Andrea Holthaus both generated four blocks while sophomore Jacqui Endre and freshman Becca Shoemaker tallied 14 digs apiece.

The Oilers will return to action on Sunday, September 30, to take on Michigan Tech in Houghton, Michigan. The GLIAC match is slated for 3 p.m.
