The University of Findlay softball team picked up two more wins in Florida on Saturday, March 9, to start the 2013 campaign 8-2. The Oilers defeated Cedarville 7-2 and then came away with a 3-1 victory over St. Thomas Aquinas.

Brittany Dauterman picked up the victory on the mound in the first game.

Emily Reynolds sparked the Oiler offense with a home run and four RBI. Both Dauterman and Courtney Dwyer contributed two hits.

Tawna Whited pitched a gem in the Findlay win over St. Thomas Aquinas, allowing only two hits while striking out 12 batters.

Whited also hit a double as Dauterman added a single and RBI in game two.

The Oilers will travel to Notre Dame College on Friday, March 15. The double header is slated for 3 p.m.
