The University of Findlay women's soccer team defeated Urbana University 3-1 on Thursday, September 12 in Urbana, Ohio. 

The Oilers jumped out to a 1-0 lead when senior Katie Burke scored at the 43 minute mark.  Her goal was assisted by junior Danielle Hart. 

Burke would then score her second goal of the contest at the 50 minute mark of the game off of an assist by Hart.  Then, at the 62 minute mark, sophomore Kirsten Fruchey scored the third goal for the Oilers. 

Urbana's lone goal of the game came from Brittany Mazzu at the 68 minute mark. 

Findlay dominated offensively with a 9-1 advantage in corner kicks and a 24-9 advantage in shots. 

Goalkeeper Kelsea Corns picked up the win in the process and had three saves in the game. 

The Oilers, who improve to 2-1 on the year, will face Ursuline on the road on September 17 at 4 p.m.
