The University of Findlay women's soccer team had a 1-1 tie against Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) opponent Northwood University at DeHaven Field on Sunday, October 26. 

The Oilers jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first half when junior Kendall Kwiatkowski scored at the 35 minute mark.  Her goal was assisted by junior Katelyn Anderson. 

Northwood tied up the contest in the second half when Jessica Flores scored at the 51 minute mark. 

Senior goalkeeper Samantha Trimboli claimed the tie in the net for the Oilers and made six saves in the contest. 

The Oilers had the edge offensively with a 21-9 advantage in shots, but were unable to score the golden goal to give them the victory. 

The Oilers, who are now 6-7-2 with the tie and have a 3-5-2 mark in GLIAC play, will host their final home game of the season when GLIAC rival Lake Erie College come to DeHaven Field for a showdown on Thursday, October 30.
