The University of Findlay women's soccer team tied Michigan Tech University 0-0 on Sunday, Oct. 11, in Findlay, Ohio. The draw gives the Oilers a 1-8-3 record on the season with a 0-5-2 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

The day began with Findlay honoring their fellow senior teammates on their senior day. During the first half of the game Findlay created opportunities on goal but were unable to put one in the back of the net. The match remained tied at the half with both teams totaling 5 shots with 3 on goal.

At the end of second half Findlay senior captain Katelyn Anderson had 3 shots for the Oilers. Freshman Marissa Swindell also had 3 shots on goal for the offense. The match continued into double overtime where the final score remained 0-0.  Bre Parrish earned 10 saves in goal during the match to keep the Oilers in the game.

The Oilers play next in an away match at Northwood on Friday, Oct. 16. in Midland, Michigan.
