Box Score

Findlay, OH- The University of Findlay men's soccer team fell to Concord University 2-1 on Sunday, September 4 at DeHaven Field.  This loss gives the Oilers a 1-1 record for the season.  Concord University is also 1-1 on their season. 

The Oilers and the Mountain Lions battled in the first half with the majority of play being in the center of the field.  The only shot on goal in the first half was by Concord, giving them a 1-0 lead. 

In the first ten minutes of the second half, sophomore Josh Burton scored from inside the box with an assist by sophomore Michael Shaikly. 

With 25 minutes left in the game, Concord scored a goal from inside the box to go ahead 2-1.

The Oilers finished the game with 4 shots on goal, while the Mountain Lions finished the game with 5 shots on goal. 

The Oilers will be back in action on Friday, September 9 at Walsh at 7pm for their first conference game.
