The University of Findlay volleyball team was defeated by Hillsdale College 3-1 (34-32, 14-25, 15-25, 21-51) on Sep. 14 in Findlay, Ohio. The loss brings the Oilers' record to 8-2 on the season and 3-1 in conference play.

The Oilers were led by junior Shelby Kin who recorded 15 kills, while junior Izzy Murphy had 12 kills and senior Amanda Winner added 11.

Senior Hailee Olson recorded 45 assists and eight digs for the Oilers.

Senior Kara Scherger led the team defensively, receiving  20 digs against the Chargers.  Junior Ally Duncan contributed eight digs, while sophomore Olivia Morrison added five.

The Oilers will be back in action tomorrow on Sep. 15 when they will face Ursuline at 7:00pm in Pepper Pike, Ohio.
