Rosemont, Ill. – The University of Findlay softball team traveled to compete against Missouri S&T and Ill.-Springfield on February 22. The Oilers record improved to 1-2 on the season.

The Oilers defeated Missouri S&T 5-4 in game one. Senior Salwa Al-Hajabed had a great game behind the plate and went 3 for 3 with one RBI against Missouri. Junior Rebecca Harvey was 2 for 4 in game one with one score and one RBI. Two more runs were scored by sophomore Dylan Wiley who went 1 for 3 and recorded one RBI, while junior Allison Brunner went 2 for 4 with a run scored.

Senior Hailey Bryan pitched a complete game, only allowed 4 earned runs, and struck out 2 batters to earn the victory.

The Oilers are scheduled to play Ill.-Springfield but no results have been received yet.
