Findlay, Ohio – The University of Findlay men`s soccer team competed against Daeman College on Saturday, September 14 at DeHaven Field. The Oilers won the contest and remain undefeated at 3-0 and Daeman College falls to 0-3 on the season. The Oilers had five different players score a goal throughout the game to win by a final score of 5-0.
Jack Atkinson, David Hug, Kegan Winkler, Josh Dickinson all scored goals during the first half. Dickinson assisted on Winkler's goal as well.
In the 80th minute, Taylor Miles added the final goal of the game for the Oilers.
The Oilers outshot the Wildcats 29-9. Twelve different players had shots throughout the game. Kerstetter led the Oilers with 5 shots, and 3 shots on goal. Dickinson added 4 more shots with 2 shots on goal. Miles and Winkler added 3 a piece.
Goalkeeper Andrew Boulton recorded 6 saves in the shutout, his second on the season.
The Oilers compete once more at home on Wednesday, September 18 versus conference foe Tiffin University. The game is scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. start time.
