The University of Findlay men's basketball team claimed an 80-47 win over Trevecca Nazarene University on Jan. 16 in Niekamp Arena. The victory gives the Oilers an 11-5 record on the season with a 6-1 mark in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).

The Oilers shot a season-high 64.2 percent (34-of-53) from the floor and came away with 12 steals in the win. They also outrebounded the Trojans by a 32-17 margin and held them to a 35.9 percent (14-of-39) shooting clip.

Junior forward Anthony Masterlasco led the way with 13 points while junior guard Tommy Schmock had 12 points, five assists, and five steals.

Freshman forward Nathan Bruns reached double figures with ten points to go along with seven rebounds while junior guard Tre'Maine Gray had nine points.

The Trojans were led by Austin Wills' 12 points.

The Oilers will be back at home on Saturday to host Kentucky Wesleyan College at 3pm.
