The 15th-ranked University of Findlay men's basketball team stayed unbeaten with an 80-56 victory over Trevecca Nazarene University on Dec. 17 in Niekamp Arena. The win gives the Oilers a 4-0 record on the season with a 3-0 mark in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).

The Oilers shot 50 percent (31-of-62) from the floor and made 13-of-27 (48.1%) of their three point tries. They also posted 20 assists and came away with 11 steals in the victory.

Senior guard Tommy Schmock paced the Oilers with 15 points, eight assists, five rebounds, and two steals while sophomore forward Nathan Bruns had 13 points and four assists.

Senior forward Anthony Masterlasco also reached double figures with 12 points to go along with four rebounds, three assists, and three steals while junior forward Deven Stover, senior guard Tre'Maine Gray, and freshman forward Andrew Owens had eight points apiece.

The Trojans were led by Imani Starling's 13 points.

The Oilers will be back in action again on Jan. 2 when they host Hillsdale College.
