Game 1

In the bottom of the second, freshman Avery Sheperd doubled down the left field line to drive in junior Gloria Corona and senior Devyn Zuro and put the Oilers up with an early advantage of 2-0.

Scoring would stall until the Arrows got on the board in the top of the fifth to cut into the lead 2-1 in favor of the Oilers. Junior Jordyn Poulson safely scored when junior Lyndsey Seamon safely reached base on an Arrows' throwing error in the bottom half of the inning to get the run back.

The Oilers wasted no time continuing to put runs on the scoreboard in the bottom of the sixth to ultimately secure a run-rule victory. Shepherd once again drove in Zuro to make it 4-1. Sophomore Bailey Bates who reached base in the inning off a pinch hit single, raced home on a wild pitch making it 5-1.

Junior Caroline Turner who put up a three hit performance in the game, singled to center to score Shepherd making it 6-1 in favor of the Oilers. With junior Lexie Hilling up to the plate, Hilling was hit by the pitch with bases loaded which allowed C. Turner to score. The two-run double by senior Dylan Wiley ultimately ended the game 9-1 with the Oilers on top. The Oilers ended the game scoring seven unanswered runs in the fifth and six innings.

In game one, the Oilers were led by C. Turner who went 3 for 4 with one run and one RBI. Three Oilers accounted for two hits each including Shepherd, Wiley, and Zuro. Shepherd ended the game with one run scored and 3 RBIs while Wiley added 2 RBIs. Senior Megan Fisher, Bates, and Corona each added a hit and a run scored each.

In the circle, Fisher went the distance to secure her 9th win this season. Fisher allowed seven hits, one run, and one walk while striking out eight batters.

Game 2

The scoring did not cool off for the Oilers in game two when they came out of the gates scoring seven of their eight runs in the first two innings. The big inning for the Oilers came in the bottom of the first when they scored six runs on three hits. With the score 2-0 in favor of the Oilers, sophomore Olivia Carlton put one into the left center gap to score junior Madelyn Turner and Wiley with a two RBI double. Corona singled to the shortstop to allow Carlton and Zuro to score on the misthrow by the Arrows. After one inning of play, the Oilers held a 6-0 advantage.

After C. Turner doubled to left center, Seamon allowed C. Turner to score on another Arrows error making it 7-0 in the second inning.

The game would end in the fifth inning when sophomore Makayla Cowan allowed pinch runner junior Kelsey Carter score from third on a RBI fielder's choice. The Oilers took advantage of a few mistakes in the field by the Arrows to win 8-0 after five innings.

Carlton led the way for the Oilers with a two-hit performance including a double, two RBIs, and a run scored. Corona, M. Turner, Poulson, C. Turner, and Seamon each recorded a hit in game two.

Three pitchers stepped into the circle in the night cap only allowing three hits total in the game.
