The 9th-ranked University of Findlay wrestling team wrapped up the 2022 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Championship on Jan. 22 in Painesville, Ohio. The Roughnecks went 1-1 on the second day of competition to finish the tournament with a 1-3 mark.

During the second day of competition, Findlay fell 25-18 to 12th-ranked Ashland University before beating Kentucky Wesleyan College 38-6.

Junior Branson Proudlock scored a pair of victories and finished the event with a 4-0 record while junior Hunter Reed also picked up a pair of wins to finish 4-0 at the championship.
