Junior Branson Proudlock of the University of Findlay wrestling program reached the semifinals of the 2022 NCAA Division II National Championship on March 11 in St. Louis, Mo.

Proudlock, who is the second-ranked wrestler in the nation in the 141-pound weight class, began the tournament with a 9-5 win over Upper Iowa's Tate Murphy in the preliminary match. He then scored a 5-0 win over McKendree's Brody Norman before beating Drury's seventh-ranked Peter Kuster by a score of 5-2 to reach the semifinal round.

Proudlock will now look to advance to the championship bout tomorrow as he has a bout with Lindenwood's Colby Smith, who is ranked third nationally.
