Findlay, Ohio- The University of Findlay women's soccer team welcomed Northwood University for a Great Midwest contest, Thursday, Sept. 22. The Oilers fell to the Timberwolves by a score of 3-2. The first half got off to a quick start as three goals were scored in the first seventeen minutes. Northwood started the frenzy with a quick goal in the fourth minute. Findlay answered right back seven minutes later as junior Hannah Rybicki scored in the eleventh minute from an assist by junior Alyssa Stark. Five minutes later, Northwood would again find the back of the net in the 16th minute before a penalty kick led to a third goal for the Timberwolves in the 20th minute. The next 25 minutes were scoreless leaving the score 3-1 in favor of the Timberwolves going into halftime.

The second half of play was back-and-forth. Ellie Tischler then scored in the 87th minute off an assist by freshman Sydney Noble but it was too late for the Oilers as they fell short to the Timberwolves.
