Second Half Goals Lift Findlay Over Kentucky Wesleyan

Owensboro, Ky. – The University of Findlay women's soccer team went on the road to compete against the Kentucky Wesleyan this Saturday, Oct. 14. The Oilers came out victorious for the 2-1 win which moves their record to 8-3-2 on the season and 8-1-0 in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) play while Kentucky Wesleyan's record moves to 2-10-0 and 2-8-0 in the G-MAC. The win is the eighth in a row for Findlay who have not lost in more than a month.

The first half saw little action from either team in the way of scoring. Findlay did fire seven shots but none found the back of the net.

The Panthers scored one goal in the second half, but it was not enough to come back against the Oilers.
