Swimming & Diving Conclude Meet with SVSU | Women Win

University Center, Mich.- The University of Findlay men's and women's swimming and diving teams traveled to Saginaw Valley State for a dual meet on Saturday, Oct. 28 at the Gerstacker Regional Aquatic Center. The women's squad picked up a narrow win over the Cardinals by a score of 118-113. Meanwhile, the men's team fell to the Cardinals by an even closer score of 117-114.

How It Happened

Women
Despite falling to Saginaw Valley State just one day prior, the Oilers, who were receiving votes in the national poll were able to redeem themselves to pick up their second win of the season. The day was highlighted by the 400 medley relay team of Sasha Melnyk, Katie Susi, Sofia Lesmes Montes, and Emily Mears-Bentley. Their time of 3:43.40 set a new school record and was an NCAA provisional cut.
