Hillsdale, Mich. - The University of Findlay men's tennis team got their season started on Saturday, Sep. 16 with a trip north to participate in the Chargers' Summer Invitational. The event takes place over two days and includes four singles draws and two doubles draws. Competition will conclude tomorrow.

Wilfredo Lara and Ethan Shoesmith highlighted the day for the Oilers as they teammed up to win the A draw of the doubles tournament. The duo strung three wins together to claim the title. Lara and Shoesmith each also won the quarterfinals in their respective singles brackets to make for a perfect Saturday each of those individuals.
