Findlay, Ohio – The University of Findlay women's soccer team faced off against #4 Ferris State Friday, Sep. 8 at DeHaven Soccer Complex. The game saw back and forth action that ultimately ended in a draw. With the outcome of Friday's game, the Oilers record stands at 0-1-2 and the Bulldogs at 2-0-1.  
 
The Oilers played a phenomenal defensive game, earning senior goal keeper 
Kennedy Slovak her second shutout of the season. Slovak made a total of two saves during play.  
 
Findlay outshot Ferris State 13 to 8. Sophomore 
Sydney Noble took four shots, junior 
Ellie Tischler recorded three shots, and senior 
Anna Meixner had two attempts. 
 
The Oilers will be home as they face the Saginaw Valley Cardinals on Sunday, Sept. 10 at 1pm.Â
