Indianapolis, Ind.- Senior Jacob Michael was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Athlete of the Week as released on Monday, Jan. 22. This award comes after leading the Oilers at the Findlay Alumni Classic this past weekend. 

The Elida, Ohio native took the top spot in the men's pole vault. He cleared a mark of 5.02m (16'5.5"), meeting the NCAA Provisional Standard. His performance is the ninth-best in Division II this season.

This is Michael's third career G-MAC Athlete of the Week honor this season and second in a row.
