Findlay, Ohio- The University of Findlay women's volleyball team hosted the Malone University Pioneers in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) match on Friday, Nov. 1. The Oilers won by a score of 3-1 (24-26, 25-18, 25-10, 25-12) to improve to 16-6 on the year with a 8-2 mark in the conference. Meanwhile, Malone falls to 5-19 with a 2-9 record in the league.
Despite dropping the first set, the Oilers rattled off three consecutive wins to take the match. As a team, Findlay hit .313 while recording 56 kills and recording 16 errors. Meanwhile, they held Malone to just a .097 hitting percentage while allowing 39 kills and forcing 27 errors.

Hannah Miller who amassed 16 kills while junior
Kenzie Hoelscher had twelve kills. Junior
Alana Pohlman also had a good night, recording 11 kills and a team-high four blocks. Also adding four blocks of her own was sophomore
Abria Lomax.

Emma White helped run the Oiler's offense, accumulating 44 assists. She also recorded three blocks, two aces, and eleven digs. Leading the team in digs was senior

Findlay will be back in action tomorrow, Saturday, Nov. 2 as they welcome the Walsh University Cavaliers to Croy Physical Education Center for the last home match of the regular season. That game is scheduled to begin at 4pm.
