NCAA DII Men's Soccer Bracket
Findlay, Ohio - Two days after winning the program's first conference championship tournament, the University of Findlay men's soccer team gathered in the Koehler Fitness and Recreation Center to watch the NCAA Divsion II Selection Show which aired on Monday, Nov. 18.
The Oilers, which were ranked sixth in the previous regional ranking, moved up to earn the number six seed in the Super Region 3 bracket and will be heading to Maryville University, the three seed, for a second round game on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 2:00 pm EST.

Andy Smyth said following the selection show, "We're excited about the opportunity to continue our season into the NCAA Tournament, something that we haven't done in 21 years here. We will begin to prepare for Maryville tomorrow and will be ready come kickoff on Saturday."
Findlay's last trip to the NCAA Playoffs came back in 2003 when the Oilers made one of the most historic tournament runs in the history of Findlay athletics, entering the tournament with a 9-5-3 record. The Oilers defeated Ashland on penalty kicks in the first round and then did the same against Mercyhurst in round two. A 2-1 win over Truman State send UF to the NCAA DII Final Four where their run ended with a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Chico State.Â
