Pepper Pike, Ohio- The University of Findlay women's soccer team traveled to Pepper Pike, Ohio to face off against the Ursuline College Arrows on Saturday Nov 2nd. The Oilers had a dominating 90 minutes that led to the 3-0 win over the Arrows, marking the sixth straight win for the Orange and Black. With the win the Oilers improve to 9-3-1 in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) play and 9-4-3 overall. Meanwhile, Ursuline falls to 3-7-3 in G-MAC play and 3-8-5 overall.  

The Oilers offense was jump started with a goal in the first six minutes of play by senior Alyssa Stark from an assist by senior Ellie Janszen giving the Oilers an early 1-0 lead. This goal would go on record as Stark's first collegiate goal. Then, just 14 minutes into the second half Alyssa Stark would find the back of the net for a second time off another assist from Ellie Janszen putting the Oilers up 2-0. To wrap up the game, freshman Jojo Knight recorded her first career goal on a penalty kick in the 86th minute to give the Oilers the 3-0 win. 

The Oilers remained in control throughout the whole matchup, out shooting the Arrows 20-3. Junior goalkeeper Audrey Gibson-Zweifel would record two saves to shut down the Arrows offense.  

The Oilers will travel to Tiffin, Ohio to face off against the Tiffin University Dragons Wednesday, Nov. 6th. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30pm.
