Findlay, Ohio - The Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) released their football all-region selections on Thursday, Dec. 5 to each of the four super regions in the country. In Super Region 1, Findlay had two players selected as graduate senior Yoesph Carter was named first team and freshman Jayon Harvey was named second team.

With his first team selection, Carter will move on to the all-American ballot which will be announced on Wednesday, Dec. 18, three days before the NCAA DII National Championship game.

The Oilers' most recent in a long line of standout offensive lineman, Yoesph Carter has earned his first D2CCA all-region selection. Findlay has had a first-team offensive lineman named in three of the last four years. Carter, the G-MAC Co-Offensive Lineman of the Year and Gene Upshaw Award Nominee, started all 11 games at right guard for the Oilers this year. His blocking helped lead the Oilers to 136 rushing yards per game, nearly 400 yards of total offense per game, and 32 points per game, the second-highest total in the G-MAC.

Making his presence felt in his first season, freshman Jayon Harvey was a big-time defender for the Oilers in 2024 and is the first UF defensive back to earn all-region from the D2CCA since Aaron Ivory was named back in 2017. Harvey led the G-MAC with 16 passes defended, a number which also ranked second in the region and sixth in all of Division II. His passes defended were the most by any true freshman in the country, regardless of division, while his four interceptions were tied for the most in the G-MAC and ranked sixth in the region. Harvey also made 58 tackles this season.
