Findlay, Ohio - The University of Findlay women's lacrosse fell to the McKendree University Bearcats at home Wednesday, March 20 by a score of 15-10. With this loss the the Oilers fall to 4-4 on the season while McKendree improves to 4-5.
McKendree scored the first goal of the game, just forty seconds into play, although throughout the first quarter Findlay tied the score twice and ultimately pulled ahead ending the first quarter up 3-2.
During the second quarter, Findlay started off strong and kept their lead, refusing to allow the McKendree to pull ahead. The Oilers outscored the Bearcats int the third quarter 4-3, ending the first half up by two.
McKendree came out swinging after half time, only allowing the Oilers one goal during the third quarter, in the last fifty seconds, and scoring five goals themselves. taking away Findlay's lead and ending the quarter 10-8.
The Oilers made an effort to come back in the fourth, scoring two goals, but it wasn't enough to claim victory over the Bearcats.

Tessa Chuba scored four goals, secured 10 draw controls caused two turnovers and had two groundballs. Junior
Olivia Alvarado scored two goals, had two groundballs and caused two turnovers. Senior
Paige Falk found the back of the net twice during play, secured six draw controls, had one groundball, and caused one turnover.

Olivia Bakowski made a total of 12 saves and secured three groundballs during play.
The Oilers will be back in action when they host Charleston at home Sunday, Mar. 24 at 12pm.
