Cincinnati, Ohio- The University of Findlay men's and women's track and field team traveled a small group to compete in day one of the Oliver Nikoloff Invite on Friday, March 29. Day one consisted of javelin and hammer throw.  

Top Results Men- 

• Gabe Clement (JR) took third place in the javelin with a throw of 55.35m. Isaac Web (GR) finished sixth with a throw of 48.23m and Zac Belanich (SR) finished ninth with a throw of 28.60m 

• Orry Willems (SR) won the men's hammer throw with a mark of 63.90m, a career-best and an NCAA provisional mark. Zac Belanich (SR) took fifth with a mark of 53.49m 

Top Results Women- 

• Kassandra Stine (SR) took second place in javelin with a throw of 37.11m. Maddie Alexander (SR) finished third with a throw of 25.46m and Katelyn Heath (SO) took fourth with a throw of 22.14m.  

• Brooke Coulter (SR) took twelfth place in the hammer throw with a mark of 47.43m. Kelsey Kennon (SR) finished thirteenth with a mark of 46.73m. Trista Fintel (JR) finished fourteenth with a throw of 45.66 and Ava Kiefer (SO) took eighteenth with a mark of 41.85 

The Oilers will be back in action tomorrow March 30th as they compete in day two of the Nikoloff Invite.
