Top-10 Individual Performances | #8 Leah Smith
The Oilers had another incredible year as multiple student-athletes saw success at both the conference and national level. In order to further honor those accomplishments, Findlay's media relations staff has put together a top-10 list of individual performances from the year and will release them throughout the summer months.

Sophomore Leah Smith put together a remarkable season, earning seven all-American honors while helping lead the Oilers to both the Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field National Championships. The Tiffin, Ohio native was named all-region in seven events by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA): the outdoor 100m, 200m, 4x100, and 4x400, as well as the indoor 60m, 200m, and 4x400m. She captured Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) titles in the indoor 200m and 4x400m, along with the outdoor 100m, 4x100m, and 4x400m, and was named the G-MAC Indoor Track Co-Athlete of the Meet.Â
Smith delivered her most memorable performance at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships, earning first team all-American honors in the 100m with a fifth-place finish and a time of 11.32 seconds.
