Indianapolis, Ind.- The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) announced its' postseason awards for the outdoor track and field season on Thursday, June 5. The University of Findlay men's and women's teams earned 16 all-conference spots including six on first team and ten on second team. Findlay also earned the Women's Track Athlete of the Year which was earned by graduate student Kylie Ray. 

Kylie Ray has been named Women's Track Athlete of the Year after an exceptional outdoor season capped by multiple podium finishes at the NCAA Division II National Championship in Pueblo, Colorado. Ray claimed individual G-MAC titles in the 400-meter hurdles, 4x100-meter relay, and 4x400-meter relay, earning a podium finish in every event she competed in. Her dominant performance at the conference meet earned her the title of Track Athlete of the Meet and propelled her to the national stage just two weeks later.

In Pueblo, the Pickney, Michigan native led her team to a 15th-place overall finish. She was the national runner-up in the 400-meter hurdles, running a program-record time of 57.72 to earn first team all-American honors. She followed that up by anchoring the 4x400-meter relay team to a fourth-place finish, setting another school record with a time of 3:33.72 and earning an additional first team all-American honor.

In addition to her national and conference accolades, Ray was named all-region by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) in four events: the 4x100-meter relay, 4x400-meter relay, 400-meter dash, and 400-meter hurdles, recognizing her as one of the top performers in the Midwest region across a range of sprint events.
