Long Beach, Calif. / Tiffin, Ohio - The University of Findlay men's and women's track and field team traveled several individuals to various meets. Groups competed in the Beach Invitational in Long Beach, California, and the Tiffin Track Carnival in Tiffin, Ohio. After a long day of tough competition, the Oilers had several notable finishes.  

Beach Invitational 

Top Results Men- 

• Orry Willems (SR) finished eleventh in the hammer throw with a mark of 62.87m meeting the NCAA Provisional Standard 

• Gabe Clement (JR) took forty-first in the javelin throw with a distance of 50.95m 

Top Results Women- 

• Trista Fintel (JR) finished twenty-third in the hammer throw with a mark of 53.52m meeting the NCAA Provisional Standard and Paige Emnett (GR) took thirty-second with a mark of 52.18m 

Tiffin Track Carnival 

Top Results Women-  

• Maddie Alexander (SR) is in fifth place after day one of the heptathlon with a score of 2166. 

The Oilers will be back in action Saturday April 13 as they wrap up their weekend in Tiffin and along the west coast.
