Top-10 Individual Performances | #2 Tim Stollings
The Oilers had another incredible year as multiple student-athletes saw success at both the conference and national level. In order to further honor those accomplishments, Findlay's media relations staff has put together a top-10 list of individual performances from the year and will release them throughout the summer months.
#2 | Tim Stollings | Swim
Stollings, who was also selected as both the G-MAC Male Athlete of the Year and Collegiate Achievement Award winner, had a season to remember. At the G-MAC Championship, Stollings won five event titles including the 100 butterfly, 100 backstroke, 400 freestyle relay, 400 medley relay, and 200 medley relay. As a result he was named the G-MAC Swimmer of the Meet and was later named G-MAC Men's Swimmer of the Year on the way to leading the team to the 2024 G-MAC Championship, the seventh straight.
At the NCAA DII National Championship, Stollings led the Oilers to a tenth-place finish. At the meet, the Prichard, West Virginia product earned first team all-American in the 100 butterfly, 100 backstroke, 200 medley relay, and 400 medley relay while earned second team all-American in the 50 free, 200 free relay, and 400 free relay. The culmination of the meet came in the 100 butterfly when Stollings claimed the national championship, the second of his career.
Stollings is also a two-time academic all-district and all-American pick and was the 2023-24 Findlay Mancuso Award winner.
