Findlay, Ohio- The University of Findlay men's soccer team hosted the Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers on Saturday, Sep. 21st. After a hard-fought battle in the heat the Oilers fell 2-0 to the Panthers. After the loss, the Oilers drop to 3-2-0 overall and 1-1-0 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) while KWC advances to 2-0-0 in the G-MAC and 4-1-0 overall.
The Oilers offense managed 13 shots, eight of which were on goal, but could not find the back of the net. The Oilers were led by freshman
Joey Chirco with two shots on goal.

Keegan Grant recorded four saves to slow the panthers offense only allowing a pair of goals in the 43rd and 67th minutes of play.
This is the first time KWC has beaten the Oilers in men's soccer, which had previously held a 9-0-2 record against the team from Owensboro, Ky.
The Oilers will be back in action Thursday, Sep. 26th as they host the Cedarville University Yellow Jackets. Kickoff is scheduled for 4pm.
