Football Up One Spot to #8 in National Ranking

Waco, Texas-  Findlay went on the road made a statement on Saturday, picking up a win against then #15 Ashland University to clinch at least a share of the conference title and an automatic berth into the NCAA DII Playoffs. For that effort, the Oilers climb one spot to eighth in the latest American Football Coaches' Association (AFCA) Poll.

The Oilers join #1 Ferris State, #10 Indianapolis, #11 Minnesota-Duluth, #13 Augustana, #14 Minnesota State, #20 Ashland, and #21 Grand Valley State as the eight teams from Super Region III that appear in the national poll.

Findlay has another opportunity to pick up a win against a quality opponent this weekend when they take on the Tiffin University Dragons in the regular-season finale.
