Volleyball Earns Eighth Straight Sweep | Beat Northwood 3-0

Findlay, Ohio — The University of Findlay volleyball team closed out the night with a strong sweep over Northwood, earning a 3–0 victory on Friday, November 14 at Croy Physical Education Center. The win pushes the Oilers to 22–3 overall and 13–1 in G-MAC play. With the win, the Oilers have now taken 24 straight sets, marking eight consecutive wins.

Findlay controlled the match from start to finish, hitting an efficient .294 as a team while holding Northwood to .185. The Oilers showed balance across all three sets, recording 17 kills in both the second and third frames and finishing the night with 50 kills total.

Sophomore outside hitter Grace Auer led the charge with a dominant 15-kill performance (.351) and added two aces and 10 digs for a 17-point outing.

Senior Alana Pohlman was equally sharp, posting nine kills on a .412 clip and contributing two solo blocks.

Senior Lauren Foerster added 11 kills (.375), while freshman Victoria Mescher delivered eight more to round out Findlay's front-row depth.

Senior Setter Emma White steered the offense with 45 assists and added an ace and six digs.

Defensively, junior Hannah Miller anchored the back court with a team-high 18 digs, followed by senior Makenna Belcher, who collected 13 digs to go with her seven kills. Senior Olivia Pearce also played a key role with 12 digs. The Oilers totaled seven service aces and six team blocks on the night.

Northwood was led by Sage Kissman's 11 kills, but the Timberwolves struggled to find consistency against Findlay's defensive pressure and were out-dug 66–56. The Oilers also forced 14 Northwood attack errors and held them under .200 in every set.

With the sweep, Findlay continues its strong push toward postseason play and remains firmly positioned near the top of the conference standings.

The Oilers are back in action on Saturday, November 15 at 4 p.m., hosting Hillsdale in Croy Gymnasium for their final regular-season matchup of the year.
