Swimming & Diving Concludes Tri-Meet with BGSU and JCU

Bowling Green, Ohio- The University of Findlay swimming and diving teams made the short trip to Bowling Green State University on Saturday, Dec. 13, to face the Falcons and the Blue Streaks of John Carroll. Competing inside Cooper Pool, the Findlay men earned a 179–83 victory over John Carroll. On the women's side, the Oilers defeated John Carroll 163–99 but fell to host Bowling Green by a score of 175–100.

Comment from Head Coach Diego Santos
It was a great way to finish the fall. We had a very strong and exciting semester, where we for sure were able to set us up for a fun and hopefully, a fast spring semester. We know that conference and nationals will come by really fast, but understand that we need to take it day by day and continue putting in the work the right way. Keep your eye out for us, because we are just getting started.

The Oilers return to action on Saturday, Jan. 10, when they travel to Indiana for an always-competitive meet against the University of Indianapolis. The meet will be held at the Ruth Lilly Fitness Center and is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
