Football Ranked No. 19 in Final DII AFCA Poll | Highest Ever

Waco, Texas-  The final American Football Coaches' Association (AFCA) Top-25 Poll was released on Monday, Dec. 22 following the conclusion of the NCAA Division II Playoffs which saw Ferris State defeat Harding at the National Championship in McKinney, Texas this past weekend. The University of Findlay football team finished the year ranked No. 19 in the country, its' highest end-of-season NCAA DII ranking in program history. The previous record came in the 2017 season when Findlay ended the year ranking 22nd, making the second round of the playoffs, finishing the year with a 10-3 record.

This season the Oilers posted a record of 10-2 and with an 8-1 record in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) play, won a share of the conference championship. Findlay also played host to an NCAA playoff game for the first time in program history and established a new NCAA era record for regular season wins with ten.
