Grand Rapids, Mich. – The University of Findlay men's and women's swimming and diving teams continued the Calvin Winter Invite on Friday, Dec. 5 against a competitive field. Both squads continued with momentum from the first day, meeting more NCAA qualifying marks on Friday. Both teams are in third place out of six teams.

Men's Top Results
- 800 Free Relay – Posting the seventh-best time in DII this year with an NCAA qualifying mark of 6:31.24 was the team of Juan Blandon Torres, Santiago Arteaga, Nick Beratz, and Sebastian Camacho. That mark is a school and meet record. In that race, Juan Blandon Torres' opening 200 free was clocked at a 1:38.25, meeting the B cut.
- 200 Medley Relay – Meeting the NCAA provisional was the team of Randy Keener, Arnaldo Guimaraes, Camilo Marrugo, and Juan Blandon Torres, finishing the race in second with a time of 1:27.11, the eighth-fastest time in D2 this year.
- 200 Free – Keeping it rolling off of a good first day, Sebastian Camacho was a winner in the 200 free with a time of 1:35.08 which is good for the NCAA B standard and set a new program and meet record. Also meeting the B standard was Santiago Arteaga with a time of 1:38.05, a time that was good for fourth in the race. Also swimming the 200 free as an exhibition was Randy Keener who had a time of 1:39.08 which is also a B cut.
- 100 Backstroke – Randy Keener also continued a solid meet, winning the 100 back in a time of 47.19, the fifth-fastest time in DII this year and an NCAA B standard.
- 100 Butterfly – Finishing runner-up was Juan Blandon Torres, touching in 47.85 which is good for the NCAA B standard.
- 100 Breaststroke – Narrowly missing out on a qualifying standard was Arnaldo Guimaraes who finished third with a 55.86.
Women's Top Results
- 200 Medley Relay – Findlay's team of Emily Mears-Bentley, Katie Susi, Olivia Scheibelhoffer, and Troie Grubbs met the NCAA provisional standard, winning the race with a time of 1:40.84, the fourth-fastest time in the country this season and a new meet record.
- 100 Butterfly – Emily Mears-Bentley met the NCAA B standard, winning with a time of 53.57, the second-fastest time in D2 this year and a new meet record. Olivia Scheibelhoffer was runner-up, touching the wall in 56.15.
- 100 Breaststroke – One of the most prolific breaststrokers in the country, Katie Susi won with a time of 1:02.38 but was faster in the morning prelims, finishing with a time of 1:02.04, good for the B standard.
