Findlay, Ohio – The University of Findlay women 's basketball team took on the Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers on Saturday, Feb. 15 in Croy Gymnasium, suffering a 77-75 defeat. With that loss the Oilers, which have already clinched a spot in the league's postseason tournament, fall to 19-7 overall and 12-5 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) while KWC improves to 13-9 (9-8 G-MAC) with the win.
Fast forward to the third quarter, a 7-0 run by the Oilers put the home team in front by its' largest margin of the game at 55-46. However, over the next three minutes of play, an 18-4 run by the Panthers was the answer as the visiting team regained the lead at 64-59.

KWC would convert on a layup with 2.5 seconds left and, following a timeout, the Oilers failed to get off a shot at the buzzer.
