Three Named First Team All-G-MAC in Softball

Indianapolis, Ind. – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) revealed its selections for the 2025 softball all-conference teams on Wednesday, April 30, coinciding with the start of the Great Midwest Softball Championship Tournament. Findlay, the tournament's third seed, earned a trio of all-conference selections. Junior Kayla Dykin, junior Annika Bredel, and sophomore Joslynne Frazier each earned spots on first team.

Putting together one of the most dominant seasons in the circle in program history, junior Kayla Dykin has earned her first G-MAC award of her career. This season, Dykin ranks top-ten in the country and second in the conference with an ERA of 0.84, closing in on Findlay's single-season record of 0.83 which was set in 2016 by Chelsea McManaway. Opponents are hitting just .159 off Dykin, the lowest batting average against in the G-MAC, while her 13 wins in the regular season are tied for fifth most. Findlay's ace has allowed just ten earned runs all year, the fewest in the Great Midwest.

Picking up her third career all-G-MAC honor and second consecutive first-team award, Annika Bredel has sustained her high level of play into a third year in the Orange and Black. Bredel leads Findlay with a .385 batting average, eighth-best in the G-MAC. Her 45 runs scored are second in the league and are tied for third in program history. Bredel has 52 hits including 17 doubles, third in the league, and five home runs. She has been an on base machine this season, helped by a conference-leading 15 hit by pitches, and has an OBP of .484.

Earning her first all-conference honor of her career, Joslynne Frazier has been a serious threat at the plate for the Oilers this regular season. She has a batting average of .333 with 35 hits in 105 at-bats and leads Findlay with 33 runs batted in. That total ranks 11th in the conference. She also ranks third in the G-MAC with seven home runs which have helped her to a .600 slugging percentage, seventh-best in the conference.
