Indianapolis, Ind. -  Senior Makenna Belcher was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Athlete of the Week as released by the conference office on Monday, Sep. 15. Belcher led the Oilers to a perfect 3-0 week at the Hampton Inn and Suits Grand Rapids Downtown Classic hosted by Davenport, a run that included a 3-0 win over #16 Gannon.

Belcher dominated throughout the course of the tournament, smashing 55 kills at a clip of 4.58 per set. She had a hitting percentage of .314. Adding to her scoring totals were four blocks, making her responsible for 4.75 points per set over the course of the three matches.

This is Belcher's second G-MAC North Division Athlete of the Week award this season and sixth of her career.
