Indianapolis, Ind.- Sophomore Micah Cottrell was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Athlete of the Week as released by the conference office on Monday, Jan. 12. Cottrell led the Roughnecks to a 3-1 weekend at the Virginia Duals with wins over Apprentice School, #11 Kutztown, and Newberry before falling to #10 Glenville State in the championship dual.

The Cincinnati, Ohio native was a perfect 4-0 that included an 18-1 tech fall win, an 11-1 major decision, a 15-3 major decision, and a pin (2:49) in the final dual.

This is Cottrell's first G-MAC Athlete of the Week award of his career.
