Gilbert, Ariz.- The University of Findlay women's tennis team opens the 2026 season ranked no. 16 in the national poll, marking the program's first-ever appearance in an opening ranking. Findlay is the only Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) program to appear in the poll.
Findlay is coming off a historic season that saw the program soar to a no. 6 ranking in the national poll. The Oilers advanced to the NCAA Division II Women's Tennis National Tournament for the fourth straight year, once again earning a spot in the Midwest Regional. Findlay wrapped up the year with a 19-4 overall record and a perfect 9-0 mark in G-MAC play.
The Oilers kick off their spring season Sunday, Feb. 1, with a match against Illinois Springfield at the Findlay YMCA East.
