Indianapolis, Ind.- Senior Giulian Bodiu was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Athlete of the Week as released by the conference office on Tuesday, Jan. 20. Bodiu led the Roughnecks to a 1-1 record on the weekend, winning 22-18 over the 20-th ranked Greyhounds of Indianapolis before falling 26-17 to the eighth-ranked Bearcats of McKendree.

With the team trailing 18-16 against Indianapolis, the Canton, Michigan, native pinned his opponent in just 24 seconds to earn six points and the win. He then followed with a 9-1 major decision over McKendree in the dual.

This is Bodiu's first G-MAC Athlete of the Week award this season and fourth of his career.
