Steinmetz Earns Third Consecutive G-MAC Athlete of the Week Honor

Indianapolis, Ind. - Sophomore Colleen Steinmetz was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Athlete of the Week as released on Monday, Feb. 23.

The Ansonia, Ohio native won the pole vault at the Flag City Tune-Up with a height of 4.11 meters, a personal best that ranks seventh in Division II this season.

Steinmetz's mark was just 0.01 meters shy of the meet record, which was set in 2013 by Olympic gold medalist Katie Moon.

This is Steinmetz's fourth Athlete of the Week recognition this season.
