Indianapolis, Ind. – Junior Valentina Salek was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Athlete of the Week as released by the conference office on Monday, March 16. Salek helped lead the fourth-ranked Oilers to a dominant 6-1 victory over No. 30 Davenport on Sunday.

Salek teamed with Ivanova Lucero at No. 1 doubles to earn a victory for Findlay, as the duo is currently ranked No. 40 in NCAA Division II. She then added a singles win at No. 2, defeating her opponent in straight sets 6-4, 6-3 to help secure the Oilers' win.
