Indianapolis, Ind.- On Wednesday, April 22, the NCAA released its' first round of regional rankings for each of the eight regions in softball. The University of Findlay makes an appearance in the poll which, for the first round of voting, is listed alphabetically as teams that are "under consideration".
The Oilers are 32-11 this season and have four regular-season games remaining. Ashland and Tiffin round out the three teams from the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) that appear in the debut of the regional rankings.
This is the first of four regional rankings that will conclude with the NCAA DII Playoff bracket being announced on Monday, May 11 at 10am ET.
