#4 Women's Golf is the Top Seed and Host Heading into the East Regional

Findlay, Ohio - The University of Findlay women's golf team, ranked No. 4 in the country and winners of eight consecutive Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) titles, will continue the season next week at the NCAA DII East Regional. The Oilers, which are hosting the event, are the top seed heading into the postseason with teams all competing for coveted sports in the NCAA DII National Championship.

The Oilers are one of 18 teams to enter the East regional. The event will be held from May 4-6 at Findlay Country Club in Findlay, Ohio. This is the fourth time that FCC will play host to the NCAA postseason, hosting the NCAA DII Men's Super Regional in 2018, the NCAA DII Women's National Championship in 2017, and the NCAA DII Women's Super Regional in 2012.

One of the most dominant programs in the country, this is the 17th consecutive year that the Oilers have qualified for the NCAA postseason, last missing the event in 2008. Findlay is a four-time champion of the East Region, as well, bringing home the trophy in 2019, 2022, 2023, and 2024.

 After three rounds of stroke play, the top four teams will continue on to the NCAA DII National Championship which is being held later May 12-16 in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. at PGA National - Champions Course.
