Greenwood, Ind. - University of Findlay senior swimmers Randy Keenr and
Camilo Marrugo have been named as the 2025-26 Academic All-Americans following incredible seasons in the water and in the classroom.
Randy Keener, a Shinnston, WV native, earned the NCAA DII Elite 90 Award, posting the highest GPA with the most credit hours of any athlete at the NCAA DII National Championship. He had a 4.0 cumulative GPA in his career, majoring in computer science. This year in the pool, Keener was a six-time second team all-American in the pool and was a first team all-conference performer.
Camilo Marrugo, also a senior, earns third team academic all-American after a year in which he maintained a 3.94 GPA in his masters classes, earning his Masters in Business Administration. At the national championship, Marrugo had one of the best meets in program history, earning all-American in seven events including three first team honors, two of which were national runner-up finishes.
The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist the College Sports Communicators with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Division II Academic All-America® program.
