Jordan Taylor Joins Track & Field Coaching Staff

Findlay, Ohio- The University of Findlay Athletic Department and Director of Track and Field & Cross Country, Eric Wymer have announced the hiring of Jordan Taylor as an assistant track and field coach. She will oversee the sprints and hurdles groups for the Oilers.

"We're excited to have Jordan back in Findlay. She was a part of five of our Great Midwest Championship teams and knows what it takes to win," said Wymer. "I'm looking forward to working with her. I truly believe she was the best candidate, and she'll be a tremendous asset to our program as we continue to move forward."

Taylor returns to Findlay after spending the past year as an assistant coach at Bemidji State University, an NCAA Division II institution in Bemidji, Minnesota. During her time with the Beavers, she helped guide the program to top-15 finishes at the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Championships.

Taylor began her coaching career as a speed camp instructor for Verhoff Athletics in 2023-24. There, she led sprinting drills and training exercises, trained on proper techniques and instructed over 100 athletes in sprints, broad jump, pro-agility and more.

A native of Loudonville, Ohio, Taylor was a five-year member of the Findlay women's track and field program from 2020-25. One of the most accomplished sprinters in program history, she earned eight all-American honors while setting seven school records. A six-time all-conference selection, Taylor captured ten Great Midwest Conference titles during her standout career.

Taylor earned her bachelor's degree in exercise science from Findlay in 2025.
