Columbus, Ohio — The University of Findlay women's soccer team battled to a 0-0 tie against ODU on Saturday, September 19. The Oilers controlled stretches of the match but were unable to find the back of the net. With the tie, Findlay moves to 4-2-2 on the season and 1-1-2 in G-MAC play.

In the first half, Findlay recorded six shots compared to ODU's two. The second half was more evenly played, with both teams registering eight shots. At the end of 90 minutes, ODU recorded three shots on target, while Findlay finished with two.

Freshman Adyson Brown created several dangerous opportunities from the midfield, recording four shots, including one on target. Freshman Olivia Gayhart also recorded a shot on target, while senior Allie Arnold and freshman Sophie Mitchell each finished with three shots each.

Senior goalkeeper Cat Graves recorded the shutout after playing all 90 minutes and making three saves to keep ODU off the scoreboard.

The Oilers will look to return to the win column when they travel to Tiffin on Thursday, September 24, at 3 p.m.
