Head coach Ron Niekamp of The University of Findlay men's basketball team announced the signing of Jake Heagen on Friday, November 12. Heagen will be eligible to compete for the Oilers during the 2011-12 campaign.

Heagen, a 6'5, 195 pound forward from John Glenn High School, was named the Muskingum Valley Conference Player of the Year as a junior and earned third team all-Ohio honors last season for the Muskies.

A two-time, first team all-conference and District 12 pick, Heagen averaged 17 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals per game as a junior.
